Katy Miller was born in Seattle and grew up in Austin, Texas. She returned to her home state for her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. Throughout her time at UW, Kathryn was on the women’s volleyball team, where she ended up sustaining an ACL injury. While in recovery, she was inspired to pursue Orthopaedics. Kathryn went on to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. She enjoys assisting in surgery and her goal is to deliver the same amount of empathy, care, and thoroughness to her patients that she was afforded as a patient herself.
