Post-operative Care

Because of our close relationship and communication with some of the most prominent surgeons in the Puget Sound area, we offer unrivaled excellence in care after your orthopedic surgery. Typically, Physical Therapy is started 1 day to 3 weeks following your surgery depending upon the procedure. Talk to your physician about the most appropriate time frame to begin physical therapy and schedule your first appointment prior to surgery if possible.

Orthopaedics

We have a highly educated and trained staff to handle all of your musculoskeletal injuries. Our treatment expertise includes the knee, shoulder, foot and ankle, hip, elbow, hand and spine care. Sports

Whether you are a highly competitive athlete or a weekend competitor, we strive to meet your goals of returning to play as soon as possible. In addition, we specialize in performance enhancement of the injured athlete by incorporating sport specific exercises based on a thorough evaluation of your injury. Your therapist will work with you to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation plan that incorporates your particular performance demands and your current level of function to maximize your safe return to activities.

Gait Evaluations / Orthodics

At Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation our therapists are experts at evaluating gait and biomechanics of the lower extremities.

We are specialists at analyzing movement patterns and can assess whether or not you would benefit from custom foot orthotics. Our staff has over 15 years of experience in orthotic fabrication and has a special interest in treating runners and walkers for mechanical pain syndromes.

Our video gait lab allows us to digitally record you while walking and running. We can examine your body’s movement patterns and determine what mechanical corrections are needed to help improve your gait. Your therapist may also use treadmill gait analysis to identify problems such as muscle imbalance and areas of poor flexibility. This will help us develop an exercise program specific to your personal needs.

Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation has two convenient locations, in Bellevue and Issaquah. Professionally designed for patient comfort, they are truly two of the most beautiful physical-therapy centers around, featuring bright and airy treatment settings.

Both clinics feature state-of-the-art exercise equipment, and rehab technologies including electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, phonophoresis, and emg-triggered muscle stimulation. Each facility offers plenty of free parking.
